The coffee futures contract is the world benchmark for Arabica coffee.  The contract prices physical delivery of exchange-grade green beans.  Participate in global price discovery for coffee.  Identify short and long-term cyclical price and volatility patterns for coffee.  Trade to hedge or speculate based on expectations of directional price, spread movement or volatility in coffee.  There is one contract denomination available for trade:

The minimum price fluctuation is 0.05¢ per pound ($18.75 per contract).

Margin requirements are subject to change, and are required for open futures positions.

The coffee futures contract is available to trade via the ICE (Intercontinental Exchange) trading platform.  Open outcry trading is conducted 6:15AM PT through 9:30AM PT.  Electronic trading is available 11:00PM PT through 12:15PM PT.

Trading example:  If you were to purchase 1 contract of KC at 140.00, and the next day it moves to 140.75, you would have a profit of $281.25.  Inversely, if it were to move down to 139.25, you would have a loss of $281.25.
